Stefano Noferini, Exclusive Interview with EDMaddicts

EDMaddicts brings you an exclusive interview with the Stefano Noferini, an Italian Producer and DJ who was featured on the 50th Episode of EDMaddicts. Following his great set, EDMaddicts had to find out more about the man behind Deepperfect Records and some tunes that have been dominating the dance charts with their smooth flows and addicting hooks.  The language barrier poses no problem here, as dance music is a UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE bridging all borders and creating a special connection to those that vibe to the sound of House. Stefano Noferini has been achieving successes at a steady pace, and his mind is full of valuable information... some of which we will be sharing with you today! -Will Rodrigues

EDMaddicts: How long have you been in the scene? Did you start out as a DJ and move to Producer, or were you a
Producer from the get go. What's your story?
Stefano Noferini: My dj career started 15 years ago and almost consecutively I started to produce music but everything was
different respect now as you can imagine…

EDMaddicts: You've been experiencing a lot awesome feedback to your most recent productions, topping the Beatport
dance charts and having your tracks played in clubs throughout the world. How does it feel?
Stefano Noferini: This make me very happy naturally i did recently # 1 of Beatport Main Chart with “Burujava” (Toolroom)
and “Mama” (Spinnin) and my first # 1 on Billboard Dance Chart with “Push N Pull” (Deeperfect) make me
very proud J

EDMaddicts: Your tracks have a great energy to them. What elements do you feel really help pull a track together and
give it some power.
Stefano Noferini: There’s 3 important elements to create a powerfull track the bass, the groove and naturally the riff

EDMaddicts: What's your preferred style? Is it all across the board or is there a genre that really fits your style?
Stefano Noferini: Everything have a and Dance 80/90 inspiration but with a tech house rivisitation

EDMaddicts: 2011 is right around the corner and I bet it's going to be a huge year for Stefano Noferini! Is there anything
in store for your fans and are there any events that you are looking forward too?

Stefano Noferini: 2010 has been really good year for me, my tracks have been getting really good results, and I have travelled
a lot for my gigs… Brazil, Moscow, Berlin, Miami, Harford, Spain , Uk & Japan to name a few, I’m very exited
to back in South America I’ve 4 gigs in Colombia I’ll tour the country very well this time I’ll play in Le Club in
Bogotà , Sunrise in Manziale , Wpea Beach Club in Cali and Medellin, I’ll be in Panama as well to play at
Causway in the Isla Perico a small island closet to Panama City

EDMaddicts: A lot of our listeners, like myself, are from Florida and the United States. Can we expect to see you at
Winter Music Conference 2011?!
Stefano Noferini: I think so I love Miami! :)

EDMaddicts: Now for a Tech question. What is one piece of software (VST, Program, anything) that you can't live
without?
Stefano Noferini: Logic and Sylent 1 VST

EDMaddicts: What are some of your favorite countries to play in? Any reason in particular?
Stefano Noferini: USA for the energy of the people and their really good music culture then Spain and in particular IBIZA
maybe i’m really obvious but Ibiza is the centre of the world for the people love dance and clubs but is also
for the atmosphere and the mood that people have when are in Ibiza, relax and enjoy the island … , this
Island have the ability to make the people better , i love this!

EDMaddicts: It feels good to DJ when you are supported by a powerful sound system. What club or event has had your
favorite?
Stefano Noferini: Space in Miami and Colossos in Lloret Del Mar (Spain) have amazing sound system and Space in Ibiza isn’t
too bad. :)

EDMaddicts: What kind of effort does it take to become recognized on an international level like you have?
Stefano Noferini: I think only produce good Music. This is really essential …Muisc open all the doors everywhere
Naturally when you become a quite good name a staff of people to help u is necessary

EDMaddicts: Social networking and Viral marketing have created amazing opportunities for a lot of people. Has Social
networking created any opportunities for you? What do you think of it?
Stefano Noferini: Social networks as Facebook and Twitter give the possibility to the artists to have a quick and better
communication with fans and this is very important also because you can have feedback on your work
almost immediately … i really like to have a relation with the fans of my work, exchange opinion, get their
feedback and suggestions i guess is really important for a producer and labels

EDMaddicts: Do you have any advice for upcoming Producers that want to follow in your footsteps?
Stefano Noferini: Find your sound, invest all your time, energy and devotion on produce music and don’t never stop believing

EDMaddicts: Any, final words, shout outs or other things you want to share with your fans?
Stefano Noferini: Thanks to believe in me and my work and please don’t stop to buy my tracks !! :)
