FUNKERMAN
‘Sun Is Shining’ and Jaimy & Kenny D’s ‘Keep On Touchin Me’ into new club anthems. And as further proof of his commercial success, ‘Speed Up’ was made available as a downloadable track on the Xbox 360 karaoke game, Lips.
Off the back of an extensive North American and Australian tour, 2009 saw him release ‘Remember’ again featuring I-Fan, which dominated the download charts, as well as YouTube, thanks to the beautifully sinister animated video. He also invested in the ever-growing reputation of the label by starting the Flamingo Nights series of parties, which soon became an international benchmark for world-class production and quality guest mixes.
This year sees the long-awaited debut artist album from Funkerman, along with a production and DJ’ing schedule that perfectly displays his broad attitude to music, playing a diverse mix of the world’s best festivals and clubs, and working with artists varying from soul and hip-hop to underground house and electro.
Whilst enjoying the many fruits of his labour, Funkerman’s aim is to keep on improving musically and, as always, to try and push electronic music to the next level.

FRANKY RIZARDO
Franky Rizardo, born June 1st in the magical year of 1988, became interested in dance music at a young age. When he was just 14 years old his growing addiction to the beats had intensified to such a level that he felt compelled to begin experimenting with playing and producing music. Not long afterwards he took up a DJ residency at well-known Dutch club Manhattan and his hobby blossomed into his profession. With his blend of energetic and uplifting sounds he began gigging across the Netherlands and beyond. Countries like France, Switzerland, Spain and Germany picked up his popular sound and welcomed this new talent with open arms.
2009 has already been a very successful year for this artist. Together with Skitzofrenix he compiled and mixed the compilation CD "Sneakerz In De Stad". His track with Youri Donatz “I Like This Sound”, released by Blackbird (a sublabel of Fedde le Grand and Funkerman’s Flamingo Recordings), was very well received and resulted in another remix for this respectable label. Fedde le Grand has also asked the duo to remix his track “Back and Forth” which will be released by Flamingo Recordings.
But that’s not all… Franky is busy working on some new projects too. “Story of Love” is his awesome new track, soon to be releases on Sneakerz Muzik. He is also working on a new remix for Shermanology, alongside owning and managing his own label, Rizardo Records.
